Help on this 90's Arcade Title Please?

This was a game my best friend and I used to play back in the early to mid 90's. It was about these space ships, or pods, and on land were all of these little space marines (little light blue guys) that you had to try and pick up and the lizard looking alien guys (Little light green guys)were trying to kill them. You could play co-op or competitive and you could join forces to pick up the marine guys and one would shoot while the other flew and your ship could also separate into these little pod looking things (one pink, one yellow I believe) that would fly around more quickly but couldn't hold as many pick ups on the marine guys we were supposed to be saving. It was a side scrolling flier that your ship was above and shooting down at the ground while trying to ease down to ground level and save the marines and killing the aliens.

Any more details there Orlock? Manufacturer, or names of any of the things in the game; were they called Marines, Reptiles, Pods etc?

I'm completely stumped otherwise.

I think the little guys were called marines, at least that's what my friend and I called them. I'm not sure what the villians were called, maybe Dragasonians or something like that. Although, I could've got that name from any number of places and it's stuck in my head for Bob knows what reason. I think the little marine guys would either vocally say "HEY!" and wave their arms as you flew nearby to pick them up or they would just raise one arm up and wave so you knew you were within range.

The cabinet from what I remember was mainly black and blue with a pic of a reptillian alien man-like thing in some space suit from the shoulders up somewhere on the cabinet face, possible right next to the screen or above it. My memory of the colors may be off a bit as well, but the gameplay is pretty much what I have talked about here. You could blow up the alien bases and vehicles and shoot their little guys and then you also had to pick up and save your own guys. It seems like to do co-op mode you and player two had to link up or pick up a specific power up or something....I dunno...it's been a long time guys. I'll talk to my friend tonight and see if he remembers any more details that I may have forgotten.

Someone on another forum I was looking for help on said it sounded like a variation on "Choplifter" which isn't the game, but is relatively close to the same concept in an older title it seems.

Edit: Strike Force is the name of the game in case anyone cares...lol...
