Quest to find old Game

Hi

I am looking for the name of a old verticale scrolling shoot game (arcade)
I was hooked at Uni but in the Beer blured past I cannot remember the name

Hope someone can tell me if I try and discribe it:

Verticle scrolling shoot um up
Furtuistic
You used a space ship that had two styles of firing, one was the normal firing from front and blast everything, the other was a lock on feature. you held down a key and was able to lock onto ground units or sections of the large bosses. when let go a stream of lasers came from the rear of ship
Power ups increaed both forms of gun

nope

That is just bombs for ground

This one jad a lock on feature. you could lock onto a few emenys and then let go of key to fire fine laser beams from rear of ship to destroy them

this could be used on normal stuff or ground/big bosses

was 1st uni so early 90's to mid 90's
