NBA Jam TE and Mortal Kombat

According to this site, http://www.vm68.com/mkromhacks/nba_mk.html, NBA Jam TE (rev 1.0 01/17/94) is a version of NBA Jam TE, but there are fighters from Mortal Kombat that are in it. I was wondering if anyone knew if this was true before I started downloading this especially since I would also have to download the parent rom and the fact that I already have the SNES version (without MK characters).

In the snes version I think its a cheat like the Bill clinton cheat in the first one...

And yes that version is the one with MK characters you just need to write the initials and birthday as it says on the table at that site...so it'd be worth the time getting the parent if thats what your into..
