Well in my opinion FF8 is the best. The storyline is very compelling, there's soooo much secret stuff to find so you can easily spend 80+ hours with the game. The only bad thing is the Draw system makes the game a little bit too easy.

Tactics (the 1st one for PS) was the best of all of them. I don't care what anyone says. I just wish the chocobos could still attack when you're riding them.

I know your gonna say "Everyone Picks That One!!!!" but my #1 favorite Final Fantasy game happens to be FF7 with FF10 in second.......................

Final Fantay 7 is the best. With Tatics in second Final Fantasy 5,6, and 8 deserve honorable mention. And Final Fantasy Mistic Quest is the worst in the series.
