"12. Do not post referral links or advertisements."
I think this is a little harsh. Basicly you cant post any links what so ever or what? What if I just want to share some recources with my fellow gamers? Does that make me a bad person? What if I said there's a sight out there called BLAH! that has alot of mame roms not found on rom-world, but I don't post a link to it? Am I within the rules on this?

No.
Actually, the rule means no advertisements in that you cannot simply post a topic to yell "THIS SITE IS BETTER THAN ROM-WORLD! GO THERE NOW!"
Referral links basically mean having outwar or something in your signature.
And before I get into yet another argument about the rules, I only enforce them. Force and EJ make them. Go bother them in PMs.

Ok ms, (Woah I just called you ms that's kinda funny) what about in the general discussion board a while back when somebody posted a link to a news sight about the kid who wrote the story with the zombies and they arrested him for it? You remember don't you? Doesn't that count? again...
"12. Do not post referral links or advertisements."
This certainly doesn't specify only emulation sites. Can you be a little more clear on the rules?
(Hope you like my new avie by the way)

Again, I have no control over the rules. I interpret them and enforce them.
I'd also like to say that if you think I'm acting unfairly PM me. If you think Force is acting unfairly, PM him.

Well, thanks.
You failed to address any of that whatsoever.
Theoretically, you know what would be cool? If there was a whole world, like in outer space and it had all sorts of roms on it you couldn't find elsewhere. I suppose they could call it "rom world" or maybe "rom-world" for short. This of course has nothing to do with any web sites whatsoever, especially not any that end in .com.

Thread locked. This is just stupid. PM if you feel like maturely discussing your question.
