Metal Slug for GBA

it has been anonced for a january 04 release date! yay! I cant wait to be able to take metal slug with me! hey MS, you know about this right?

of course i do (frantically researching) it doesn't really matter tho as I don't have a game boy advamce.

Do you guys think the GBA version will do justice to the game?

no chance. The arcade games are awesome because they have frantic action. The GBA, however good it may be, can't handle frantic action very well. I've experienced slowdown on the arcade games before. Think how bad the slowdown will be on the GBA.

GBA might not be able to match the arcades, but back in the day my friends and I used to compare Metal Slug to Gunstar Heroes all the time. They were both amazingly frantic; even composed as differently as they were. GameBoy Advance runs on an engine with twice the power as the one that ran Gunstar. I’m certain it’ll do a good enough job of simulating the Metal Slug in all it’s glory.  
Especially via the GameBoy Player.

hey i also just found out they have a new (import) one for PS2.

Just did some resaearch. The GBA game is a new one. It's clled Metal Slug: Survival Mission. Nothing else has been released at this time
