Man, I can believe that FF (Final Fantasy) XI is already on PC. (ban me) I get so angry. Angry because the PS version is coming in March of 2004 <img src="http://www.mlanime.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/icon_mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':angry:'> . Why, WHY...why me ^_-.
To make this whorse, in FFOnline...or Enix site...hmnnn. Well I think it was...no,no,no...It was PlayOnline ^_^  [my bad] that show you what is happening in the city of Vana'diel. The point is that you see everyone plying except you....AAAHHHHHH, DOBLE AHHHHHHH, TRIPLE AAHHHHHHHHH. AND  WILL KEEP SCREAMING UNTIL I FAINT
(BAN ME) A ZILLION TIMES....

FF XI is pretty good except for one fatal flaw. You don't get to pick your server. That's right, You get put in a random server. That means that if you want to play with your friends, you have to buy a world pass. What are world passes? They are items that cost a CRAPLOAD of money to buy. By the time you get enough money to buy one, you'll probably be level 13. Once you buy these passes, you can make a new character on your friend's server. That's right, a new character. So while your friend will be level 10, you'll be level 1. This makes it very hard to play woth your friends because while he's slaughtering ogres, your getting your @ss whooped by a freakin' rabbit.

They also feature the "pay us even after you've bought the game" engine. I already paid for UO, and that's the reason I stopped playing. FF XI is just a normal MMORPG(massive multiplayer online role playing game for those non-gamers out there) with the Final Fantasy brand name slapped on there.

It's true that they have a translater English/Japanese in the game?
And how much is the mounthly payment for go in?

Not sure as I don't have it. No way in hell I'm plunking down hard earned cash on an overhyped MMORPG. My friend got it. I've played my fair share of MMORPG's, and this one just isn't all that great. Other than the graphics and the FF label, it's down there with Everquest

actually you can choose your server. it just takes a bit of work. here is how its done
make a new character. select your class and stuff.
let the game do the server select
if it chooses the wrong server just go back and remake your character.
the game saves the setting for the last character you made so you don't have to set them again.
just keep remaking it until it chooses the server you want.
