The Wild One Saga

Guilmon Comes Alive

Calumon barely escapes the clutches of the digimon chasing it. It enters our world. Meanwhile, Takato and his friends are playing the digimon card game. As they pack up to head for school, Takato finds a mysterious blue card. He slashes it through his card reader, and the reader begins to glow. His card reader is transformed into a D-Arc. He leaves his cards to head for school. His is late and has to sit outside in the hall. He makes up and draws his own digimon, Guilmon. Later at his house he tries to card slash his drawing, but it won't fit through the D-Arc. As he leaves to go eat dinner, the card falls through the D-Arc. A digiegg shows up on the screen of the digivice. That night Takato has a dream about a strange digimon called Renamon fighting another digimon. The next morning he discovers that his digiegg has hatched. His D-Arc now has a compass like signal on it. He follows the direction it points to and when he reaches the location Guilmon appears! He is afraid of Guilmon at first, but quickly begins to like him.

Digimon Digimon Everywhere

Takato sneaks Guilmon home in a box. The next day he hides him in an alley till he gets home from school. Guilmon comes looking for Takato and follows him to his school. Guilmon's appearance causes a panic at the school. When Takato finds out about all the comotion, he begins to look for Guilmon. He runs into Henry and Terriermon. Terriermon laughs at him saying that he will not be a good Tamer if he can't even find his own digimon. This upsets Takato, but he eventually finds Guilmon on the roof. Just when things are starting to look up, Rika and Renamon show up. Renamon attacks Guilmon. How will the new Tamer deal with this new problem?

To Fight Or Not To Fight

Renamon and Guilmon begin to fight. Takato begs Guilmon to stop, and he finally listens. Renamon is about to attack again when Henry and Terriermon show up. Henry tells Rika that digimon are not just meant for fighting. Rika and Renamon attack Guilmon again later. This time Terriermon digivolves into Gargomon. Gargomon goes out of control destroying everything around them. It looked as if he were about to attack Rika, but Guilmon knocks Gargo down. This makes Rika afraid of letting her own digimon digivolve to the champion level.

It Came From The Other Side

Takato and Henry are walking around town when suddenly a digital field appears and begins to chase them. A Gorillamon bio emerges and begins to attack. Through flashbacks we see how Henry got Terriermon. Guilmon and Terriermon fight hard, but cannot defeat the champion level digimon. Takato thinks that if Terriermon digivolves they can win, but Henry refuses. Instead he uses Takato's new modify card. This still is not enough, Gorillamon is about to attack again, but Terriermon uses his Bunny Blast aiming right for Gorillamon's cannon. This tactic works, and Gorillamon is destroyed.

Dream a Little Dream

White chalk lines have appeared all over the soccer field. While the kids talk about ghost dinosaurs and aliens doing this, Takato fears that Guilmon is responsible. While investigating the scene over the weekend he finds a digimon without a tamer. His name is Calumon. Takato and Henry try and find this stray digimon a tamer. While they are off looking, Calumon convinces Guilmon to go to the soccer field to play. Suddenly a digimon bio-emerges. It's Vilemon, and he begins to attack. Takato and Henry show up and try to fight, but can't beat him. Rika and Renamon arive and destroy Vilemon.

O Partner, Where Art Thou?

Rika and Renamon go off to fight another digimon. It turns out to be Allomon. Renamon can't beat him alone, and Guilmon and Terriermon show up to help out. Rika gets angry that Renamon can't do the job herself. It is revealed how Rika got Renamon. Meanwhile, while Rika sleeps, Renamon is wandering through the town. She runs into Impmon, who makes fun of her for obeying a human. Rika's digivice goes off as another digimon has bio-emerged. She goes off to fight it and meets Renamon there. The digimon is Dokugumon. It is too strong for Renamon. Renamon gets hurt in the battle, and Rika actually shows that she cares for her digimon. This causes Renamon to evolve into Kyuubimon. She then easily destroys Dokugumon.

Now You See It, Now You Don't

Takato and Guilmon are walking down the street when suddenly Guilmon begins to disappear. The disappearance wears off, but Takato is worried. He goes to Henry and even Rika for advice. Neither of them give him any useful information. That night as Takato and Guilmon are walking home Guilmon disappears completely. Takato is heart broken at the loss of his partner. The next day all three tamers come together to find Guilmon. They follow their D-Arcs signal down a tunnel. At the end of the tunnel they find a strange digital field. They enter and find Guilmon inside. Meanwhile, Yamaki and the hypnos have also found out about the field, and they begin to delete it. The tamers barely escape with Guilmon before the field deletes. Takato has been reunited with his digimon.

A Question of Trust

Someone has been throwing fireballs at couples in the park. Takato suspects that it is Guilmon, and gets mad at him. Meanwhile, A digital field appears and Impmon provokes the digimon inside. The digimon bio emerges, and it is Devidramon. He flies over the town and eventually the Tamers find him. Guilmon begins to fight him but can not win. During the fight Terriermon points out that Impmon was the one throwing fireballs at people, not Guilmon. When Takato realizes this, Guilmon digivolves into Growlmon and destroys Devidramon. He then lets out a roar that can be heard across the town.

Not As Seen On TV

Growlmon cannot dedigivolve back into Guilmon. Takato tries everything to get Growlmon to de-evolve, but nothing works. He tries making Growlmon exercising. He puts Growlmon in cold water. He even tries wishing for Growlmon to change back into Guilmon. Takato then seeks Henry's advice. Henry decides they should try and hide Growlmon. They hide him in the tunnel where they found Guilmon after he disappeared. That night Impmon shows up and chases Growlmon out of the tunnel. The next morning they decide to hide Growlmon somewhere else. They paint Growlmon camoflauge colors and hide him in the bushes, but then it starts to rain. Takato is worried that Growlmon will never return to Guilmon, but then a rainbow appears, and Growlmon dedigivolves.

The Icemon Cometh

Rika is questioning herself as a Tamer after seeing Guilmon evolve without Takato being a strict Tamer. Suddenly she feels a cold presence. She returns home, but when Renamon says she will protect her, Rika says she doesn't need her anymore. Rika takes off, but later she again feels that cold presence. She is suddenly pulled into a digital field by IceDevimon. He wants Rika to be his Tamer. Takato and Henry show up to save Rika, but IceDevimon simply freezes their digimon. Renamon shows up, but IceDevimon beats her as well. Renamon digivolves into Kyuubimon, and is still beaten. Henry uses a card slash to free Terriermon and Guilmon from the ice, then Takato uses two modify cards allowing Guilmon to destroy IceDevimon. After the battle, Rika claims she hates all digimon, and she and Renamon leave in separate directions.

Much Ado About Musyamon

Henry and Terriermon are walking through the town when a digital field appears. Terriermon wants to check it out, but Henry doesn't want his digimon to fight. The Hypnos use the Yuggoth program to destroy the digimon inside the digital field. Meanwhile, Takato is now very confident since his victory over IceDevimon. He even wins a card game against Kazu. He then goes searching for a battle so he can test his skills. Another digital field appears, and it happens to be the same one as before. The digimon that bio emerges is Musyamon. Try as they might Takato and Guilmon cannot defeat him. Henry and Terriermon show up. Terriermon digivolves into Gargomon and defeats Musyamon. Henry realizes that sometimes it is necessary to fight.

Divided They Stand

Rika and Renamon are still not speaking to one another. Renamon seeks advice from Impmon, and he tells her a digimon doesn't need a human to be strong. Impmon says that the power is within the digimon. Renamon later is able to win a battle without Rika's help. She starts to believe what Impmon said. Meanwhile Takato and Henry have a run in with Yamaki. He warns them that the game they are playing is dangerous. Later that day another digimon appears. Renamon shows up to fight it and appears to have the upper hand. When Rika and the others show up Renamon loses her focus and gets hurt. Rika runs to help her. Renamon digivolves and destroys the digimon. The two have become friends once again.

Juggernaut

Takato and Guilmon have just defeated DarkLizamon. Yamaki and other people show up and capture the defeated digimon. The Hypnos use DarkLizamon in an experiment. In a conference Yamaki reveals he has been deveoloping a project to destroy digimon for good. The origin of Digimon is revealed. Yamaki believes they are a threat and wants to destroy them all. He is given permission to test his project. Meanwhile, Takato is worried about Guilmon. His digimon is anxious about fighting now, and Takato is worried he may change and be like the digimon they have benn fighting. Guilmon's friendliness reassures Takato, and all is well and good. Suddenly the two see something in the sky. Guilmon claims that a big digimon is coming.

Yamaki has set into action his plan to destroy all digimon. Suddenly something happens, and a voice comes from the juggernaut. The voice claims that digimon will rule over the human world. Suddenly a large tiger like digimon emerges from the hole in the sky. The tamers head in that direction to stop this new digimon. Kyuubimon and Gargomon each tried to fight the digimon, but both were tossed aside like weak rookies. Next Growlmon tried to fight. He too was no match for this powerful digimon. The tamers had no data on him, but Renamon thinks he is either an ultimate or mega level digimon. The digimon attacks Growlmon, and Takato feels his pain. Takato falls unconscious, and Growlmon asks him to help fight in a dream. Takato wakes up, and picks up a card. Once in his hand, the card changes to a blue card. He slashes the card, causing a Matrix Digivolution. Growlmon digivolves into WarGrowlmon! With his new power, WarGrowlmon destroys the digimon, Majiramon.

Snakes, Trains, and Digimon

After witnessing the ferocious battle, all of Takato's friends want to meet Guilmon. They go over to his house the next day. They all head to the park and play with Guilmon. Meanwhile, Rika and her Grandmother were coming home from the theater. In the subway a digimon appears. Renamon can not defeat this snake digimon, even digivolving to Kyuubimon does no good. Henry and Terriermon show up, but even with Gargomon's help they cannot beat the Sandiramon. Impmon laughs at Takato and Guilmon, telling them that their friends are in danger. They rush to the scene to help out. Growlmon joins in the fight and with a card slash from Takato the three digimon are able to defeat Sandiramon.
