Ed

Ed (her real name is Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrosky IV) is the last character to join the Bebop's crew. The meeting happens in session #9: "Jamming with Edward". She lives on earth and spends all her time with computers...infact she is a great hacker, her nickname is "Radical Edward". Ed follows the Bebop's crew because she is looking for new adventures, so she often helps Spike and the others searching informations on the web. She is also very good to play chess. Ed is young, infact she is very childish in her behaviour.

Ein

Ein is a lab dog that was used for his intelligence. Spikes pick him up in session #2: "Stray Dog Strut". He is always tortured... Faye eates his food and Ed uses him like a pillow... Anyway Ein is very clever and often uses his intelligence. For example he answers to the video-phone, and he barks to get people attention once he has answered...

Faye Valentine

Faye Valentine appears for the first time in session #3: "Honky Tonk Women". Then she joins Bebop's crew. Faye is 23 years old, she is lazy and she always terrifies Ein, the dog. She spends her life forcing people into doing what she wants them to do.. Anyway Faye is a good pilot, she uses weapons very well and sometimes she shows her fighting ability. She has been frozen for 54 years (from the age of 20) and now she has an incredible debt to repay (probably this debt will never be payed...). So his real age is 77..

Jet Black

Jet Black is Spike's best friend, and he also is Bebop's pilot. He takes care of all the problems on the spaceship: he does the cleanings, he cooks and he repairs damaged instruments. His favourite hobby is to take care of some bonsai, that often appear during the sessions. He has a mechanical arm, because he has lost his real arm in an exchange of shots with a criminal, when he was a policeman. Yes! He was part of the police, infact on his jacket appears the "ISSP" mark. During the sessions often appear characters that are involved in his past in the police. His personal spaceship is the Hammerhead, but Jet doesn't use it so often as Spike and Faye..

Spike Spiegel

Spike Spiegel is the main character. He travels the space on the spaceship called "Bebop" with his friend Jet Black, and during his adventures he will meet Ein, Faye Valentine and Ed. The only person which he trusts is probably Jet.. Spike is lazy at a first glance, but during his adventures he is full of energy and resources. When he's fighting he uses both weapons and martial arts. His personal ship is the Swordfish II, a strange red/pink ship. Spike doesn't seem to care so much about it while he's flying... he's totally insane! He is a bounty hunter like the others members of the Bebop, but there are a lot of unknown elements from his past that are still obscure. Spike was part of a mafia organization, the Red Dragons, but he faked his own death to leave it. Vicious (actual member of the Red Dragons) has probably become his worst enemy because of this episode, after being one of his best friends (there are a lot of flashbacks in which Spike appears near Vicious). Another element of Spike's past is Julia, perhaps an ex-girlfriend, also loved by Vicious himself.

Julia

Julia's past and present are unknown. In "Cowboy Bebop" sessions we can notice that she probably was Spike's girlfriend, but she was also loved by Vicious.. She is surely responsable of a lot of Spike's troubles; perhaps she is innocent, but she is involved in Spike's escape from Red Devils and in his rivalry against Vicious. Julia appears in flashbacks in session #5: "Ballad of fallen angels" and she is mentioned in sessions #12 and #13. She also appears in the last 2 sessions of the anime, #25 and #26.

Vicious

Vicious is the worst of Spike's enemies, but we only know few facts about his past. He's a Red Dragons' member, a mafia organization, and his weapon is a very long sword. Probably he was Spike's friend, but now he wants to kill him. Perhaps the reason is Spike's give up from the Red Dragons (faking his own death) and the rivalry for Julia's love. He's cold, hostile and cruel.
