Overall Black Jack is an anime which should be owned. Unlike other anime, this would really attracts the viewer, glued on to his/her seat until the actual plot unfolds within their eyes. One of the great thing about this anime is it's dramatization. The producers opted for stilled oil painted images to depicts scenes of trauma, surprise, emotion and those alike. Also the way the story is told is wonderful, half narrated by Black Jack himself while the ohter half is acted out. The narration comes in the type of reading a journal. Example "Tuesday 9.30pm - As I go along the surgery room, I wonder about this disease".
