Story:
The year is 2040 (duh) and Tokyo has recovered from a massive destructive earthquake. Rebuilding the city would have only been possible with the help of Boomers (Androids which also have emotion, it seems). The company GENOM, which manufactures Boomers, is very cold and monopolistic. There is a flaw, however with the boomers...they randomly go "berserk" and mutate and go on rampages slaughtering everything in sight.

To combat this, the Japanese government forms the AD POLICE, a counter-boomer special task force. It would seem Genom does not want the boomers to go berserk (it hurts boomer sales), and they don't (for a little while). But then, through some plot twists, end up controlling which Boomers they want to go berserk.
As in most TV shows and movies, the Police aren't very helpful. They basically excel at dying gory deaths at the hands of boomers. Leon and Daily (Daily was a homo in the original, no seriously) are the two main stars of the AD Police. Daily is the thinker (not gay this time), while Leon in the badass who like to shoot stuff ( and get a date with Priss while he's at it, not like that would happen anytime soon).
When he offers to take her to the hospital after she crashes her bike, she says "I wouldn't even get in a hospital bed with you, much less a normal bed"...If ya know what I mean :) She also tells him to go chase the Boomers' asses, not girl's asses... Most of the comedy comes from Priss and Leon.
